Malatya is maybe the most well known and also one of the biggest shops in the Spice Bazaar (mısır çarşısı.) They have a wide selection and excellent sales staff speaking just about every language you can imagine. From dried fruits, to nuts, oil based perfumes, and spices, the quality is superb and the prices are lower than most other shops.
Started in 1870, they use a majority of local products which, according to the website, are produced in an ecologically friendly way.
Situated all the way at the end of the bazaar, near the rear entrance, this shop is the place to go for all your Turkish specialties, and unlike most places, Malatya caters as much to Turkish people as to tourists.
Don’t Miss: The dried figs are delicious
- Best Perk: Wide local selection
- Average Price: Depends on how much you buy
