Adana kebap is a long, hand-minced meat kebap mounted on a wide iron skewer and grilled on an open mangal (grill.) It is named after Adana, the fifth largest city in Turkey.
Adana kebap consists of ground lamb (beef may also be used but original Adana Kebap is made with ground lamb) and various spices.Mounted on long, wide skewers and grilled on a charcoal grill. The kebap is commonly served on a plate, as a “Porsiyon”, or wrapped in flatbread, as a “Dürüm”.
