Kurufasulye are dried white beans which have been simmered in tomato based sauce until tender. They are generally served alongside of, or on top of rice. The bread is provided to soak up the extra tomato juice. Depending on where you find yourself in Turkey, this meal costs between 3 and 9 Lira and in some parts of the country you may be surprised to find extras like meat or peppers floating around with your beans.
